This full-time position is primarily conducted remotely, allowing for flexible working arrangements while ensuring clients receive continuous care. The work setting includes the use of teletherapy tools to provide therapy and counseling sessions, along with real-time support for clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients entering the detox process, identifying their needs, history, and readiness for treatment.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with each client's unique goals and circumstances, integrating evidence-based practices into care protocols.

• Facilitate therapeutic interventions, including, but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, tailored specifically to the needs of detox clients.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions designed to enhance emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and coping strategies essential for recovery.
\n
• Develop and implement proactive strategies for crisis intervention, assisting clients during critical moments, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all involved.

• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment progress, and follow-ups, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage with a team of mental health professionals, including physicians and counselors, to develop coordinated care approaches and referral pathways for further treatment.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case progress, share insights, and promote continuous improvement in service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients seeking detoxification services, including individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. By establishing a strong therapeutic rapport, you will empower clients to embrace their recovery journeys, understand their mental health challenges, and utilize available resources effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in Virginia.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, ideally within mental health or substance abuse settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
