Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents, enabling tailored treatment plans that meet individual developmental needs and family dynamics.

• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and family therapy, to effectively address mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to families experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance and safety.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers in fostering nurturing and supportive home environments.

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient data is securely stored in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and strategies to enhance collective approaches to patient care.

• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry to continually improve treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents, working collaboratively with families to address critical mental health challenges. By providing targeted support and interventions, you will contribute to improved mental health outcomes for patients navigating various emotional and behavioral issues.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is mandatory.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred to ensure a strong foundation of clinical skills.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health issues and therapeutic approaches, with experience in evidence-based treatments preferred.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to build rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and solid computer proficiency for efficient case management and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
