Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine client needs, laying the groundwork for tailored treatment plans that align with their specific circumstances.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based methodologies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to effectively address a wide range of mental health concerns.

• Collaborate extensively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other health care professionals to coordinate care and ensure the delivery of comprehensive services.

• Offer crisis intervention for clients facing acute emotional distress, using your skills to de-escalate situations and provide immediate support.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness about mental health issues and reducing stigma in the communities we serve.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at TheraCare, you will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This role involves addressing complex mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, which require empathy, respect, and a deep understanding of cultural sensitivities.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active, independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, fostering trusting and therapeutic relationships.

• Demonstrated cultural competence to work sensitively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring comprehensive and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n
