Work Environment\n

In this remote role, you will interact predominantly with students and their families via telehealth platforms, ensuring that geographic barriers do not hinder access to essential mental health services. Working closely with educational staff, including school counselors and teachers, you will create a supportive atmosphere focused on students' emotional and psychological needs. The remote nature of the position requires you to be proficient in digital communication tools, while also maintaining a welcoming and empathetic demeanor.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to students experiencing symptoms of major mental health challenges or severe emotional disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop integrated care plans to address identified needs, ensuring students receive appropriate interventions.

• Engage in regular communication with family members, educational staff, and other providers to maintain a holistic approach to student care.

• Facilitate crisis intervention when necessary, identifying immediate concerns and creating action plans to ensure student safety and stability.

• Monitor and evaluate student progress towards treatment goals, adjusting care plans as needed to promote optimal outcomes.

• Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams, contributing insights into student care and collaborating towards shared objectives.

• Document each session and maintain accurate case records, adhering to organizational guidelines and confidentiality standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your principal focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents who face mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns. Many of these students come from diverse backgrounds, often representing historically underserved populations. You will develop a culturally competent understanding of your clients' unique needs and foster resiliency within them through tailored interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work; a Master's degree preferred.

• Must possess a valid LCSW license in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or educational setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
