Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, addressing a range of mental health concerns. Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to their therapeutic goals. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or mindfulness techniques, depending on client needs. Keep meticulous, confidential records of therapy sessions and treatment progress, in adherence to ethical guidelines and legal requirements. Coordinate with other professionals within an interdisciplinary team to ensure that clients receive holistic care, including potential referrals to additional services when necessary. Demonstrate reliability and professionalism by promptly attending scheduled appointments and meeting all deadlines associated with client care. Patient Population / Client Focus The client population at AK Therapy Services is diverse, including adults, adolescents, and families facing a myriad of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Therapists are encouraged to develop empathetic, supportive relationships with each client, helping them find personal strength and resilience through the therapeutic process. Qualifications A current and valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania. A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; candidates with advanced degrees are preferred. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families in a mental health setting. Ability to pass a criminal background check and provide clearances as per the organizational policy. Exemplary interpersonal skills, with the ability to create rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds. Strong organizational capabilities and proficient time management skills to handle multiple clients effectively. Preferred Experience Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling techniques is highly desirable. Proficiency in trauma-informed care practices and culturally competent therapy approaches. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain documentation standards. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $90,000 and $100,000 annually, which reflects your expertise and experience in the field.
