Key Responsibilities\n

• Group Therapy: Facilitate dynamic group sessions wherein clients share experiences, provide mutual support, and learn coping mechanisms tailored to their individual needs. Each session aims to build community and foster connections among participants.

• Individual Therapy: Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions that focus on personalized and empathetic engagement. Utilize therapeutic techniques to explore clients' emotions and thoughts, aiming to develop coping strategies that promote mental health stability.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs. This process involves active client participation and prioritizes their unique experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license is required to practice in Oregon.

• Experience in mental health treatment, specifically working with clients facing mood and anxiety disorders in either residential or outpatient settings.

• Strong clinical skills including proficiency in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), alongside effective documentation practices.
