Administrative Assistant

Job Title: Administrative Assistant / Receptionist Responsibilities Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner. Monitor and respond to emails promptly, ensuring clear and courteous communication. Organize,scan, and file documents both electronically and physically to maintain an orderly filing system. Maintain accurate records and update files regularly to ensure information is current and accessible. Provide general administrative support to the team, including scheduling, correspondence, and other office tasks as needed. Assist with data entry and basic reporting tasks to support business operations. Ensure the office environment remains organized, tidy, and efficient to support daily activities. Essential Skills 1+ year of administrative, customer service, or office support experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Word. Ability to manage and maintain filing systems and organize documents effectively. Demonstrated customer service mindset with a professional and courteous demeanor. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a busy office environment. Work Environment This is an on-site position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lorton, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
