Senior GL Accountant at Delivery Hero We are hiring a Senior GL Accountant in Barcelona to manage our end-to-end Order-to-Cash and Purchase-to-Pay accounting cycles. You will serve as the primary accounting lead, focusing on revenue recognition and documentation while collaborating with our financial systems and operations teams to refine our internal processes. Key facts Location: Barcelona, ES Engagement: Full-time Team: Glovo (part of Delivery Hero Group) What you'll do Manage the full Order-to-Cash and Purchase-to-Pay accounting processes. Partner with FinOps to ensure data accuracy and process alignment. Analyze existing workflows to identify gaps and standardize procedures globally. Create detailed flowcharts for internal documentation and regional reference. Assist with annual audits regarding the Order-to-Cash cycle. Work with the Financial Systems team to map processes and design ERP structures. Prepare revenue recognition and revenue assurance documentation. Contribute to month-end closing activities to ensure timely financial reporting. Requirements Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration. 5+ years of professional experience in accounting or audit within multinational environments. Direct experience with the Order-to-Cash and revenue cycles. Proven track record of preparing financial process documentation, controls, and flowcharts. Solid understanding of accounting principles, specifically IFRS 15 and revenue recognition. Professional fluency in English for both written and verbal communication. Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel. Nice to have Experience working with FinOps, IT, or financial systems departments. Proficiency with SAP S4/HANA or other tier-1 ERP systems. Background in systems mapping or ERP migrations.
