Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct preliminary mental health evaluations through comprehensive interviews to gather detailed information about clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and client collaboration.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques tailored to clients’ goals and issues.

• Monitor client progress, adapting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with various healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Maintain precise and detailed documentation throughout the therapeutic process, from initial consultation to discharge.

• Provide follow-up services for clients transitioning from inpatient settings, ensuring continuity of care and support.

• Work with families and caregivers to equip them with strategies for managing mental health challenges and supporting their loved ones effectively.

• Stay updated on the latest trends and research in psychotherapy and mental health interventions, contributing to a culture of continuous learning within the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from various backgrounds, each facing unique mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. By utilizing a telehealth model, we are able to reach individuals in the comfort of their own homes, removing barriers related to access and stigma. This position requires a strong ability to build rapport and trust with clients, allowing for deeper exploration into their mental health experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Active licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Arizona.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• At least two years of direct experience providing mental health counseling.
\n
• Fluency in electronic health record systems, particularly with AVATAR or similar platforms.
\n
• A robust understanding of mental health issues, including co-occurring disorders and addiction.
\n
• Familiarity with American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and ethical standards.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective documentation and collaboration.
\n
• Empathy, active listening skills, and the ability to foster strong therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a telehealth setting, particularly in managing virtual therapy sessions.

• A background in addressing a range of behavioral health concerns, with specific skills in trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
