Key Responsibilities\n

• Coordinate with Reentry Social Workers to ensure effective discharge planning services that cater to each patient's unique needs.

• Complete all necessary statistical reporting and documentation in compliance with organizational standards.
\n
• Collaborate with the Department of Correction to secure access to patients, appropriate housing arrangements, and treatment disposition, fostering a seamless transition for clients.
\n
• Lead and develop group treatment sessions on mental health observation units, addressing various therapeutic needs of patients.
\n
• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, crisis intervention assessments, and follow-up care, ensuring that all services provided are tailored to the patient’s circumstances.

• Participate in mental health and medical rounds, and engage in case conferences to help strategize treatment planning for patients currently receiving or being considered for mental health services.
\n
• In addition to therapy, may conduct psychological testing and supervise social work interns or student volunteers, providing mentorship and guidance.
\n
• Adhere to clinical supervision protocols, meeting weekly with a Clinical Supervisor to evaluate progress and receive feedback.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with children and teenagers facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. This role requires adeptness in building rapport with young clients and their families, advocating for their needs, and facilitating their path to recovery through evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.

• Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California is mandatory, with current or eligibility for licensure.

• Strong clinical skills, particularly in establishing trust-based relationships with clients and demonstrating compassion in therapy.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $122,000 per year for full-time employees, reflecting the importance of this role within our organization.
