This unique setting allows for a personalized approach to therapy where you can effectively assess and adapt treatment to accommodate the home environment. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work alongside a variety of health professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, fostering collaborative care that aims to achieve comprehensive patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently assess each patient's functional level and design personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving their prescribed goals.Utilize a variety of orthopedic treatment techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation, based on best practices.Implement cost-effective interventions to enhance mobility and reduce the reliance on medications or surgical interventions.Monitor patients' progress, documenting all care activities and adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their responses and needs.Educate patients and families about exercises, therapeutic techniques, and lifestyle modifications to support their recovery at home.Foster a motivating and supportive environment to encourage patients to engage in their therapy and push themselves toward recovery.Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare providers to ensure cohesive patient care strategies.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will primarily work with patients experiencing orthopedic issues, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This patient population requires individualized therapeutic approaches that focus on enhancing mobility and function, allowing them to return to their preferred activities and improving their quality of life.QualificationsBachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by CAPTE.A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey is a mandatory requirement.A passion for orthopedic care and a commitment to patient-centered practice.Preferred ExperienceA minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.Experience in working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.Knowledge of current trends in orthopedic care and rehabilitation strategies.Compensation and BenefitsThe annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
