Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is designed to cater to a wide array of rehabilitation needs. Our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, all working collaboratively to ensure seamless and high-quality care for our patients.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in our onsite rehabilitation facility located in the heart of Brooklyn. Our modern and well-equipped practice is conducive to both patient recovery and team collaboration, fostering an environment where you can thrive professionally. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet dynamic work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify individual patient goals and needs through thorough evaluations.
• Manage a personalized caseload, typically treating one patient per hour to provide focused, individualized care.
• Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans aimed at improving patients' range of motion and overall mobility.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches to diminish reliance on medications and avoid unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Create comprehensive care strategies that encompass a variety of therapeutic techniques, ensuring each patient receives tailored treatment.
• Design and administer customized fitness and wellness programs aligned with each patient's needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their recovery journey, fostering a positive environment to encourage optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive interdisciplinary care and integrated treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progression meticulously, documenting treatment services and outcomes to ensure continuity and effectiveness of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic outpatient care, serving a diverse patient population ranging from athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries to individuals recovering from surgeries or chronic pain conditions. You will deliver specialized, high-quality care tailored to the unique rehabilitation needs of each patient, enhancing their mobility and guiding them towards a healthier lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Must possess an earned Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Hold a valid New York State License as a Physical Therapist with no disciplinary actions against your record.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and proficiency in therapeutic exercise program development.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is required for efficient patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is essential.
• Experience with sports rehabilitation is a plus but not a requirement.
• Demonstrated ability to develop treatment protocols based on individual assessments and patient goals.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting your experience and contributions to our team.
