Social Worker - Chicago Regular Full-Time Professional Chicago, IL, US Salary Range: $69,000.00 To $78,422.00 Annually The Entertainment Community Fund (formerly The Actors Fund) , a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment, seeks a Social Worker. The clients of the Entertainment Community Fund are a diverse, dynamic and engaging group of working and retired professionals which include musicians, actors, stage managers, set designers, hair and make-up stylists, costume designers, ushers, and radio hosts, to name a few. The agency is seeking a clinically oriented Social Workerto provide clinical case management, counseling and group services to support professionals in the arts community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Social Worker will work with individuals and families living in the Central Region seeking assistance to address a myriad of work/life balance concerns including: emergency financial need, mental health, health, or housing concerns. Using a clinical case management model, you will develop comprehensive plans to address the presenting concern and collaborate with community resources to provide support. This position will evaluate and advocate for emergency financial assistance through the Entertainment Community Fund and partner/contract programs as well as serve as a liaison to internal and external support services. Additionally, this position will lead groups and workshops.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s Degree from an accredited School of Social Work with state licensure. Strong assessment, intensive clinical case management and advocacy skills. Crisis intervention skills are a must with the ability to engage a wide range of presentations. Organized and able to handle diverse tasks in a fast paced, high volume environment. Experience working within a crisis intervention as well as brief treatment model preferred. Ability to effectively engage and sustain relationships with program participants.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; must have the ability to deal with conflict, build consensus and establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Experience facilitating workshops and groups Comfortable in a collegial, fast-paced environment. Ability to attend occasional evening or weekend events.

ABOUT THIS POSITION

COMPENSATION

Compensation is commensurate with licensure type and years of experience. The salary range for candidates who hold an MSW is between $69,000 - $73,422. The salary range for candidates who hold an LCSW is between $76,620 - $78,422. Internships, volunteer work, and gaps in employment will not be counted towards years of experience.
