Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care, including telemetry monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Document patient assessments, care provided, and changes in condition accurately and in a timely manner
• Respond to changes in patient status and escalate care as clinically appropriate

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or IMC setting
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Ability to meet facility compliance and credentialing requirements prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Stepdown or PCU environment
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in acute care settings
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in an intermediate care environment
