Key Responsibilities The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will be responsible for a range of clinical duties, including but not limited to: Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on their individual goals and needs. Managing a consistent patient load while ensuring that each patient receives the personalized attention and care they deserve. Utilizing expertise in orthopedic conditions to assess and implement appropriate treatment modalities, including manual therapy and exercise programs. Advocating for cost-effective interventions that enhance mobility and promote wellness, significantly impacting patient recovery outcomes. Focusing on non-surgical alternatives to treatment, thereby reducing the need for medications and invasive procedures. Designing comprehensive care plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities, fitness regimens, and wellness strategies. Implementing evidence-based techniques to optimize rehabilitation outcomes and motivate patients through their journeys to recovery. Regularly assessing patient progress and treatment effectiveness, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on patient outcomes. Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation to support comprehensive patient care and compliance with health regulations. Patient Population / Client Focus The clinic serves a broad range of orthopedic patients, from athletes recovering from injuries to elderly individuals seeking to improve their mobility. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you'll work with patients facing various challenges, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain, and mobility issues related to age or disability. Understanding and addressing each patient's unique situation is essential for fostering positive relationships and promoting effective recovery. Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications: A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. An active Physical Therapist license in California with a clean record, free from sanctions or board actions. Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques, along with a strong foundation in orthopedic outpatient care. Experience designing and implementing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs and capabilities. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), particularly Web PT, to maintain accurate documentation and streamline patient management. Commitment to remaining current with the latest research-backed physical therapy methodologies and best practices. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, candidates with experience in sports medicine, rehabilitation following orthopedic surgeries, or wound care will enhance their application. Familiarity with patient education methodologies and community outreach programs will also be beneficial. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, based on experience and qualifications.
