Work Environment

The successful candidate will work on-site at our well-equipped rehabilitation center, which is designed to facilitate comprehensive treatment. You will join a small, supportive team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to maintaining an engaging atmosphere focused on patient success.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate individual patient needs through comprehensive assessments to determine the most effective treatment plans.
• Implement targeted physiotherapy interventions to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, providing focused and personalized therapy sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop customized fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving mobility and overall health.
• Motivate and empower patients during their rehabilitation journey to enhance their physical functioning and overall well-being.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
• Document treatment plans, patient progress, and outcomes efficiently using electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT.
• Adapt treatment techniques to accommodate the evolving needs of patients and ensure optimal results.
• Educate patients on strategies for managing pain and reducing reliance on medications while promoting non-surgical options.
• Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting care plans as needed to enhance efficacy.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with a strong foundation in orthopedic care.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in California without any board or disciplinary actions.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to enhance patient management efficiency.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and effectively work within a team.

Compensation and Benefits
