Strive Rehabilitation Services is actively seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team full-time in Los Angeles, California. Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite and entails working within our well-established home care setting, consisting of a warm, collaborative atmosphere fueled by innovation and a patient-first philosophy. The work schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a reliable routine while allowing for optimal work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to establish patient needs and set realistic goals for rehabilitation.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans utilizing evidence-based practices and a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Maintain a patient caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring focused attention and high-quality care for every client.
• Employ cost-effective treatment strategies that promote mobility while minimizing reliance on medications or invasive procedures.
• Create tailored wellness and fitness programs that support long-term health and recovery objectives.
• Motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, fostering a sense of empowerment and resilience during recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive management of patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes, monitor progress, and adjust care plans as necessary for optimal results.
• Efficiently manage patient documentation through EMR software, such as WebPT, to maintain accurate records and ensure continuity of care.
• Communicate openly with patients regarding their treatment plans, expected outcomes, and progress updates.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient base comprises individuals with private medical insurance, many of whom present orthopedic conditions that require specialized treatment to enhance mobility and functionality. As a Physical Therapist at Strive Rehabilitation Services, you will work closely with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions, developing trust and rapport critical to their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with no board disciplinary actions against the license.
• Proven expertise in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Strong manual therapy skills with proficiency in implementing effective therapeutic exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency in patient record management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in dynamic outpatient settings dealing with diverse patient populations.
• Ability to engage in collaborative case management within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
• Experience in developing and implementing patient wellness programs tailored to individual recovery needs.

Compensation and Benefits
