New Life Physical Therapy and Wellness Center is seeking a highly skilled and passionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team. We focus primarily on patients with private medical insurance, ensuring that our services are tailored to meet their needs efficiently and effectively. Our dynamic team consists of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering exceptional care and support.

Work Environment

This position offers an onsite work environment within our modern outpatient office, providing the opportunity for face-to-face interaction with patients and collaboration with healthcare professionals. You will function within a cohesive team structure that emphasizes communication and coordinated care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life routine while addressing the high patient demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address the specific goals and requirements of each patient by developing tailored treatment plans.
• Manage an individual patient caseload with a maximum load of one patient per hour to ensure focused and personalized care.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance patient mobility, strength, and functional performance while promoting cost-effective care strategies.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and implement exercise programs designed to achieve optimum rehabilitation outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued improvement.
• Encourage patients through their rehabilitation journey, motivating them towards optimal functional capabilities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient interactions and treatments accurately in our EMR system to maintain a high standard of care and compliance.
• Maintain a focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle for clients, with an emphasis on improving flexibility, balance, and overall physical health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a member of our team, you will primarily serve a diverse population of individuals seeking orthopedic rehabilitation. Our patients typically include those recovering from injuries, post-surgical interventions, or managing chronic conditions aiming for enhanced mobility and pain reduction. Your interventions will directly contribute to their recovery journeys, allowing them to return to their daily activities and improve their quality of life significantly.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A current and valid license as a Physical Therapist in California, with no recorded board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Demonstrated experience with EMR software, such as WebPT, for effective documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience with a patient population similar to that of New Life Physical Therapy is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
