Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our center, you will work onsite, primarily in an outpatient setting. We advocate for an engaging and collaborative workplace, with an emphasis on teamwork among our two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our facility strives for a patient-centric approach that fosters innovation and ongoing professional development. Operating from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, we maintain a structured schedule that allows for optimal work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' needs, goals, and challenges, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, averaging one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused and personalized attention.
• Utilize your extensive knowledge and expertise in orthopedic practices to administer effective, evidence-based therapies aimed at improving mobility and reducing pain.
• Encourage improved functionality by minimizing reliance on medications and recommending non-surgical alternatives as appropriate.
• Design targeted treatment plans that integrate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programs.
• Develop customized fitness and wellness programs that cater to the unique needs of each patient, promoting a proactive approach to health and recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and contributing to ongoing evaluation of therapies.
• Engage in continuous communication with patients to motivate them throughout their treatment journey and adapt plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes through integrated care strategies.

The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional care to individuals primarily with private medical insurance. Our patient population predominantly includes adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Understanding the nuances of each patient's unique journey is crucial in delivering customized care that effectively addresses their specific rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure a high level of clinical competency and expertise.
• Active California Physical Therapist license, free of any board or disciplinary actions, is mandatory.
• Demonstrable proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings that showcases your ability to interact effectively with a diverse patient base.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable to ensure streamlined administrative processes.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient therapy environment is strongly preferred and will be favorably regarded in the selection process.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing tailored exercise programs that are safe and effective for patients.

Compensation and Benefits

Greenfield Rehab and Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
