Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their functional limitations and develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs.
• Implement treatment methodologies, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the utilization of advanced rehabilitation equipment, to facilitate recovery and improve mobility.
• Document and track all patient treatments, responses to therapy, and progress through our electronic medical record system, ensuring that data is current and accessible for team collaboration.
• Revise treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress, incorporating feedback to refine therapeutic goals and optimize recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members about therapeutic exercises and the use of assistive devices to encourage independence in self-care and mobility.
• Maintain professional development through continuous education, workshops, and participation in relevant professional societies.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment approaches, share insights, and coordinate care for a holistic approach to patient health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily treat adults and children recovering from a variety of orthopedic conditions, such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and age-related musculoskeletal disorders. Our patient population is diverse, and therapists are encouraged to adapt treatment modalities to meet the unique needs of each individual. Cultivating a strong rapport with patients is vital, as it fosters trust and motivation necessary for achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is strongly preferred.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is required.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Basic word processing and computer skills are essential for documenting patient care and managing electronic communications.
• Adaptability and flexibility in work style to accommodate the varying needs of patients and schedule.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of previous experience in physical therapy, preferably with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with outpatient clinic operations and a patient-centered therapeutic approach.
• Experience in using patient management systems and electronic health records.

Compensation and Benefits
