About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day and Night Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in specialty applying for prior to travel. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required. Must-Have: - 18 months of recent step down experience. - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, with acceptable scores required. - Must work at least every other holiday. Description: This position involves working in a step down unit. There is potential to float to other units to care for the same patient population. Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs. Recent step down or progressive care experience is preferred but not required. Active certifications are needed with nothing pending. No non-supervisory references will be accepted for submission. Candidates must not have any open cases for background checks. Travelers are required to be nicotine-free, with a negative drug screen required within 12 months of start. BCI/FBI prints are time-sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract. Travelers will need to pick up their badge and complete onsite fingerprints prior to the start date. Modules will be completed pre-start and on an annual basis. Billable hours for annual modules apply if on contract for a continuous year.
