Salesforce Business Analyst / Salesforce Functional AnalystLocation: Irvine, CAWork Hours: Must be available to work in PST time zone to effectively collaborate with business and IT stakeholders.Position Overview: This role is being created to support Salesforce-related merger and integration activities. The primary responsibility will be to work with business stakeholders across the merging organizations to align business processes, gather and document requirements, drive consensus on future-state Salesforce workflows, and obtain agreement on go-live processes and operational readiness. The individual will act as a bridge between business and IT teams to ensure a smooth transition and successful Salesforce integration.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand, analyze, and document business requirements.Conduct requirement gathering workshops, stakeholder meetings, and discovery sessions.Translate business requirements into Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Use Cases, User Stories, Process Flows, and Acceptance Criteria.Create and manage product backlog items and convert requirements into sprint-ready user stories.Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA teams, and Scrum teams throughout the SDLC.Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, and clarification sessions.Ensure requirements are clearly understood by development teams and aligned with business objectives.Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support defect triage activities.Obtain business stakeholder review, approval, and sign-off on requirements and functional specifications.Track requirement changes and maintain traceability throughout the project lifecycle.Work within Agile/Scrum methodology and support project delivery milestones.Required Skills:5+ years of Business Analysis or Functional Analysis experience.Strong experience with Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or related Salesforce products).Expertise in requirement elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.Experience writing User Stories, Epics, Use Cases, BRDs, FRDs, and Acceptance Criteria.Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum processes and sprint planning.Experience using Jira and Confluence.Excellent communication, presentation, and business-facing skills.Ability to bridge the gap between business users and technical teams.Preferred Skills:Salesforce Administrator Certification is a plus.Experience working on Salesforce implementation or enhancement projects.Knowledge of UAT, process mapping, and workflow design.Experience with data analysis, reporting, and Salesforce integrations.Ideal Candidate Profile: A Salesforce Functional Consultant/Business Analyst who can independently lead requirement discussions with business and IT teams, document detailed functional requirements, convert them into user stories and sprint plans, coordinate with development teams, and drive business sign-off through project completion.The pay range for this role is ***- *** per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. *** also offers benefits like medical, vision, dental, life, disability insurance and paid time off (including holidays, parental leave, and sick leave, as required by law).
