Location: Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, CA, and outlying clinics Schedule: Onsite Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Position Summary The Clinical PACS Administrator serves as the onsite team lead for PACS operations supporting the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton Radiology Department and its outlying clinics. This position maintains the availability, security, performance, and reliability of a mission-critical hub-and-spoke imaging environment connected to Naval Medical Center San Diego. The administrator must be PACS-agnostic and capable of supporting multiple PACS platforms, DICOM viewers, archives, routing devices, imaging modalities, and transitions between existing and new PACS environments. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain PACS servers, workstations, databases, archives, DICOM viewers, routing devices, and related hardware and software. Monitor system health, backups, storage, image transfers, network performance, uptime, and disaster-recovery readiness. Support imaging workflows for CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, DEXA, Fluoroscopy, and other modalities. Manage image routing to radiologists and tele-radiology vendors and ensure reliable image storage, retrieval, distribution, and display. Support PACS integration with EHR, RIS, VNA, databases, and other healthcare information systems. Troubleshoot PACS, modality connectivity, interfaces, databases, networks, image routing, and display issues; escal Coordinate system upgrades, patches, maintenance, data migration, validation, and transition activities with government IT, NMCSD, and vendors. Provide technical support and training to radiologists, technologists, providers, medical staff, tele-radiology vendors, and outlying clinic users. Maintain HIPAA, DoD, DHA, and facility privacy, cybersecurity, access-control, audit, and documentation requirements. Serve as the primary liaison among NHCP leadership, NMCSD, government IT teams, clinical users, and PACS vendors. Lead daily PACS support activities, prioritize incidents, monitor service performance, and support continuous process improvement. Required Documentation and Reporting Monthly performance reports covering uptime, image transfers, storage utilization, support activity, resolution times, and trends. User guides, FAQs, quick-reference materials, and training content. PACS configuration, workflow, troubleshooting, and system-transition documentation. Detailed incident and issue-resolution logs, including escalation and closure status. Coverage Requirements The administrator must be physically present during core business hours and remain available for after-hours remote support involving critical PACS issues, including evenings, weekends, and federal holidays. #J-18808-Ljbffr Frontier Strategies , LLC
