Physician Assistant (PA) - Trauma Surgery Night Shift

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join a high-acuity Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team for night shift coverage. This role involves managing complex trauma and surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

• Provide comprehensive trauma and acute care surgical services during overnight shifts

• Manage trauma admissions, emergency general surgery, and inpatient care

• Perform patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and interpret diagnostic tests

• Assist surgeons with procedures, resuscitation, and operative support

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

• Maintain accurate documentation and workflows within Epic EMR

• Practice with a high level of autonomy while managing multiple complex cases

• Support quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives

• Participate in professional development and leadership opportunities

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program - Required

• NCCPA Certification (PA-C) - Required

• Active, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the State of Colorado - Required

• BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross) - Required

• Eligible for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid provider status - Required

• Minimum 2 years of trauma surgery experience OR completion of a surgical fellowship - Highly Preferred

• Clean malpractice and license history - Highly Preferred

• No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA - Required

• Up to $10,000 annual incentive bonus

• Relocation assistance up to $10,000 (for eligible candidates)
