Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, Cancer Survivorship

Description The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is recruiting a full‑time faculty member at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level to join the Cancer Survivorship Program and help grow its research portfolio. The program’s overall mission is to enhance care of cancer survivors through rigorous research with national and international impact, outstanding clinical care, and education and outreach. Survivorship focuses on the physical, mental, emotional, social and financial effects of cancer from diagnosis until the end of life. The successful candidate will develop and continue an independent research program focusing on adult cancer survivorship (young adults to geriatrics) within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. Research areas of interest include lifestyle or other interventions to mitigate late medical or psychosocial effects, biobehavioral research, health services, and dissemination and implementation science. Qualifications Applicants must hold a PhD, MD/DO, or foreign equivalent. MD/DO holders who wish to maintain a clinical practice must be board‑certified in a relevant discipline and hold a Washington state medical license. A University of Washington appointment will be required prior to any clinical practice. Candidates should have a record of and primary interest in adult cancer survivorship, demonstrated by peer‑reviewed publications, grants and/or clinical trial experience. Three confidential letters of recommendation. Letters are requested at the time of application for Assistant Professor rank and later for Associate/Full Professor ranks. Salary and Benefits Annual base salary ranges (PhD researcher): Assistant Professor $183,585–$205,428; Associate Professor $205,707–$239,858; Full Professor $234,970–$363,282. (MD physician‑scientist ranges are higher.) Pay is based on experience and qualifications and may include relocation assistance or a sign‑on bonus.
