Key Responsibilities

Your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities, including detailed assessments of movement patterns and pain levels.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each patient, taking into account their medical history and rehabilitation goals.
• Providing consultations to other healthcare providers regarding ongoing patient care and progress.
• Implementing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities while continuously monitoring patient responses.
• Documenting patient treatments and progress accurately, following all regulatory and professional standards for documentation.
• Engaging in collaborative discussions with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and effective discharge planning.

• Maintaining professional competence through ongoing education and participation in staff meetings and in-service training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse population of patients, which includes athletes, elderly individuals, and post-operative orthopedic patients requiring rehabilitation. Tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of patients from various backgrounds will be an essential part of your role. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support) is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
