Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide mindfulness-based therapeutic interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to meet the unique needs of individual clients.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments, enabling a deep understanding of clients' stressors and emotional challenges, to better inform tailored intervention strategies.

• Facilitate mindfulness exercises and meditation sessions, fostering emotional regulation and self-awareness in clients.
\n
• Lead group workshops focused on mindfulness techniques, stress management strategies, and resilience-building practices to enhance communal well-being.
\n
• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into one-on-one therapy sessions, addressing and managing specific mental health issues while promoting personal growth.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within an interdisciplinary team to deliver a holistic treatment approach that integrates mindfulness into broader therapeutic goals.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of client sessions, documenting treatment progress, emotional responses, and therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Engage regularly in personal mindfulness practices and self-reflection, committing to ongoing professional development and training in mindfulness methodologies.

In your role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, stress-related challenges, and those seeking personal development through mindfulness practices. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.

• Strong foundational knowledge of therapeutic principles and practices, with an emphasis on mindfulness-based techniques.

• Demonstrated ability to create a warm, inviting atmosphere conducive to open dialogue and therapeutic engagement.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous training and experience with Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques is highly desirable.
