Job Title
Northwood Hospitality LLC d/b/a Cheeca Lodge & Spa (Islamorada, FL). 3 openings. Temporary, F/T job from 10/01/2026 07/31/2027. Work to be performed at multiple properties in Monroe County, FL. Min. 35 hrs/week. Shifts: Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 3:00pm to 11:00 pm. Shift hours may vary.
Job Description
Duties: Responsible for cleaning and preparing raw fish according to traditional Japanese sushi and sashimi style; cooking and preparing Japanese food; make sushi rolls, and sashimi plates; and ensure freshness of food, ingredients, and raw materials by checking for quality.
Requirements
Six (6) months of experience in a sushi preparation environment required. On-the-job training is provided. Applicant must provide Pre-employment Criminal Background Check
Job Responsibilities
Under the direction of the chef, the line cook is responsible for food preparation and ensuring superior quality and consistency and presentation.
