Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Royal Heights Rehabilitation Center, your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting licensed physical therapists in the application of prescribed treatment plans, which involve therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and a range of modalities tailored to individual patient needs.
• Providing direct, hands-on support in patient mobility training, ensuring comfort and safety during therapy sessions.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress efficiently, reporting any observed changes to the supervising physical therapist to adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educating patients and their families on the proper use of assistive devices, exercises, and techniques aimed at promoting independence and self-care.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient records in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
• Ensuring a clean, organized treatment environment that fosters a positive atmosphere for both patients and staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, encompassing individuals of various ages and backgrounds. Your role will involve rehabilitating patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for our PTA position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, ideally with a concentration in physical therapy.

• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Nevada.

Compensation and Benefits
