As a Security Officer - Dedicated Overnight Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic financial services location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, offering the chance to support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in a people-first culture.

- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, exterior areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas, verifying credentials, assisting visitors, and reporting suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.
- Complete routine reports and activity logs, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives regarding daily operations and notable events.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
