Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while working within the framework of a community health clinic. You will engage with clients and their families through a virtual platform, ensuring access to high-quality mental health services from the comfort of their homes. Key Responsibilities\n

• Serve as the primary point of contact for families, effectively communicating and building rapport to enhance the therapeutic process.

• Facilitate therapy sessions—individual, family, and group—leveraging the Attachment-Based Family Therapy model and Newport Healthcare’s clinical guidelines.
\n
• Conduct Family Orientations, Welcome Presentations, and Family Support Groups to integrate families into the treatment journey with empathy and support.
\n
• Ensure timely, thorough documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and client interactions using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
\n
• Maintain a productive schedule, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet organizational goals and client needs.
\n
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and clinical supervision to discuss client progress and strategize interventions.
\n
• Attend professional development meetings, trainings, and conferences as a representative of Positive Progress Counseling Center.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on adolescents and young adults aged 12-26 facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use, eating disorders, and trauma-related issues. As an LMFT, you will work closely with this demographic, empowering them to find their voice and navigate their recovery pathways with courage and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current licensure as a Board-registered Associate (APCC, LAPC, ASW, AMFT, MHCA) or Psychologic Associate in California or the state where services are provided.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual, group, or family therapy to adolescents and young adults.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with diverse mental health issues, including substance abuse, eating disorders, and trauma-informed care.

• Familiarity with providing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly within a virtual care setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
