ASCP - Clinical Laboratory Technician - CLT / MLT McKinney, TX $71,110 - $102,145 a year Full Time Your Mission Conduct routine and advanced lab tests covering various areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology in accordance with established procedures. Scrutinize results for precision, address discrepancies, and carry out routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments. Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for comprehensive testing as required. Keep meticulous records of all procedures, train newcomers or students, and contribute to upholding high laboratory quality standards. Ensure a tidy, safe working environment while adhering systematically to all regulatory compliance and accreditation norms. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, including preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of starting. Maintain current certification as a condition of employment. Skills Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for seamless collaboration with healthcare teams. Strong capacity for independent judgement and problem‑solving skills in fast‑moving or stressful environments.
