Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions aimed at addressing specific mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, tailoring therapeutic techniques to each client’s unique needs.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that cultivate community, promote shared experiences, and foster collective healing among participants.

• Monitor clients' progress by regularly assessing their therapeutic outcomes and readjusting treatment plans to reflect their evolving needs and goals.

• Collaborate with caregivers and family members to equip them with effective strategies for managing behavioral health challenges and supporting the recovery process.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to encourage clients toward positive behavioral changes.

• Document all client interactions and maintain confidentiality while adhering to best practices in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele ranging from adolescents to adults, dealing with various mental health challenges, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and addiction recovery. Understanding cultural sensitivities and the factors impacting mental health in the Lowell area will enhance care delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.

Compensation and Benefits\n
