Part-Time Faculty - Music Continuous Applicant Pool Salary: $75.00 Hourly Job Type: Part-Time Faculty Job Number: PTF-MUSIC Closing: Continuous Location: Imperial, CA Division: Arts & Letters/Learning Services Under the direction of the appropriate Dean, this position is a part-time temporary instructional faculty assignment. Representative Duties Provide instruction in accordance with approved Imperial Valley College curriculum and established course outlines and as assigned based on the needs of the college. Conduct classes, class preparation, student evaluation, course syllabus, assessing and evaluating student learning outcomes, and other related duties. Maintain and submit accurate records according to published deadlines (i.e., grades, syllabi, attendance reports). Maintain standards of professional conduct and ethics appropriate to the professional position. Advise students on academic matters. Maintain competency in the field. Minimum Qualifications Master's in music. Bachelor's in music AND Master's in humanities. Equivalent education and experience to the above. Sensitivity to diverse academic socio‑economic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students (AB 1725, 87360a).
