Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Texoma Care, your primary duties will encompass:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients referred by physicians, establishing individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs.
• Administering targeted treatments that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to promote recovery.
• Offering education and training to patients and their caregivers to empower them in their healing process.
• Demonstrating excellent customer service skills, ensuring each patient feels valued and respected throughout their care journey.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and refine treatment strategies aimed at maximizing patient outcomes.
• Maintaining up-to-date documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with industry standards.
• Meeting and exceeding minimum utilization goals and contributing to broader business objectives through consistent quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current state license to practice physical therapy.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• A commitment to building strong rapport with patients to support their recovery goals.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will strengthen your application:

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Two (2) or more years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally with exposure to the specified populations.
• Current CPR certification.
