Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with Rapides Healthcare System, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual mental health counseling sessions via video chat, adhering to ethical and compassionate therapeutic standards.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities to facilitate individual therapies, focusing on solution-oriented techniques.
\n
• Developing and implementing customized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Helping clients gain insights into their personal experiences, feelings, and relationships, enhancing their self-awareness.
\n
• Monitoring clients’ progress throughout the course of treatment and modifying plans as necessary to support their growth.
\n
• Assisting clients in establishing and strengthening healthy coping mechanisms to enhance resilience.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving stable, low-acuity adults who present a variety of mental health needs. This role emphasizes a supportive and understanding approach, ensuring that clients feel safe and heard while navigating their treatment process. The supportive framework allows clients to make meaningful progress in overcoming their challenges in a non-judgmental environment.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Be fully licensed to practice independently as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Have no provisional licenses or disciplinary actions on record.
\n
• Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine ability to empathize with clients.
\n
• Possess strong computer literacy skills to effectively navigate our virtual counseling platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health setting is required, we value diverse backgrounds and experiences. Familiarity with detox environments and an ability to engage effectively with clients facing various mental health challenges will be highly advantageous. Experience with solution-based therapeutic practices is also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 104,000 , commensurate with experience and working hours. In addition, you will benefit from:
