This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to provide care from the comfort of your own home while reaching clients across various locations. Using a telehealth platform, you'll conduct therapy sessions and evaluations, all while maintaining a professional and confidential environment. Our practice is equipped with advanced electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to streamline documentation and client management.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments, collect comprehensive histories, and document clients' progress from the first appointment to discharge.
\n
• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical judgement.
\n
• Design and implement individualized intervention and recovery plans tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions focusing on skill development, coping mechanisms, and emotional processing.
\n
• Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to their treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.
\n
• Collaborate with other health professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create unified intervention strategies.

• Provide case management services and coordinate referrals to external resources as necessary, ensuring seamless transition and support for clients.

• Support family members and caregivers in understanding and managing the complexities of mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Educational Background: A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• Examinations: A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency: Ability to utilize electronic health records, specifically AVATAR, effectively.
\n
• Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, essential for documentation and client interaction.

• Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional ability to connect with clients and maintain a sympathetic, supportive approach throughout therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience as a mental health counselor, with a demonstrated track record of effective client outcomes.

• Experience working with clients with co-occurring disorders, including emotional and physical health challenges or addiction.

• Familiarity with the best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Knowledge of pharmacology and the effects of psychiatric medications, which aids in holistic treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
