Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs, formulate clinical diagnoses, and guide treatment planning.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy, employing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other tailored approaches, ensuring alignment with each client’s therapeutic goals.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients facing acute mental health emergencies, helping them navigate immediate challenges and connect to further resources.

• Maintain thorough and confidential client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in collaborative teamwork with other health professionals, working together to achieve comprehensive care for clients.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources, acting as an advocate for their needs.

• Commit to continuous professional development by attending trainings, workshops, and receiving supervision, staying abreast of best practices in mental health care.

Your work will primarily involve engaging with a varied client demographic, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Many of our clients come from underserved backgrounds, and therefore, you will play a crucial role in addressing the unique challenges they face and promoting longer-term wellness through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in the state of California.

• A Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a closely related field is required; a Master's or Doctoral Degree is preferred.

• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnosis.

• At least two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, with a strong foundation in treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
