As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology-focused location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, document observations, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:30 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:30 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and escalating concerns as appropriate. Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements, reporting access-control irregularities and/or policy violations. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and provide clear information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
