Patients primarily carry private insurance, ensuring we can focus on delivering the best care possible without the constraints sometimes imposed by larger healthcare entities.

Work Environment

You will work in an onsite, supportive, and collaborative environment alongside a small team that includes fellow physical therapists and assistive personnel. The work schedule is designed to promote work-life balance, with hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and specific rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a manageable caseload, ensuring you spend ample time with each patient—typically one individual per hour.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to develop personalized care plans that incorporate various physical therapy techniques.
• Implement treatment strategies focused on enhancing mobility, reducing pain, and restoring function in orthopedic patients.
• Monitor progress through regular evaluations and strictly adhere to clear documentation practices.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment to foster optimal outcomes and adherence to exercise regimens.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients of all ages who present a range of conditions, from post-operative rehabilitation needs to chronic pain management. Our diverse clientele is characterized by a commitment to achieving their physical therapy goals, which helps create a motivating atmosphere to facilitate healing and resilience.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Virginia license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or previous issues with licensing boards.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience in developing effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR Software to ensure efficient patient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, providing a solid foundation in assessing and treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
• A background that includes familiarity with evidence-based practices and innovative treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
