Litigation Associate

Scion Staffing is leading the search for a Litigation Associate Attorney on behalf of a respected and established law firm in Encino, California . This fully onsite, direct hire opportunity is ideal for an attorney who is ready to take ownership of a diverse caseload while collaborating with a highly regarded litigation team. Responsibilities Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution. Develop case strategy and oversee all phases of litigation. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation documents. Conduct and defend depositions independently. Manage all aspects of written discovery. Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, trial, and settlement. Appear in state and federal court for hearings, conferences, and other proceedings. Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts. Perform legal research and provide strategic recommendations on complex litigation matters. Collaborate with partners and fellow attorneys on high-value and complex cases. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar. 3–6 years of civil litigation experience Demonstrated experience handling depositions, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation. Strong written and oral advocacy skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and case management abilities. Ability to independently manage a caseload while working collaboratively with a legal team. Experience in intellectual property, environmental, or ADA litigation is a plus but not required.
