Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients by reviewing their medical history, performing physical assessments, and documenting findings to formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies to patients and their families, engaging them in the goal-setting process to ensure a collaborative approach to care.
• Implement treatment protocols effectively, adapting them as necessary based on patient progress and evolving healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, as needed, to address patients' comprehensive needs and ensure continual adjustments to care plans based on documented changes in conditions.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care, maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, progress notes, and evaluations to create a detailed account of the patient's journey to recovery.
• Maintain an effective schedule to meet productivity expectations, arriving punctually to meetings and participating in community outreach and marketing efforts.
• Contribute to departmental goals, comply with governmental regulations, and engage in activities that promote compliance and quality assurance.
• Actively seek out continuing education opportunities for professional skill enhancement and remain current in evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population you will serve primarily consists of individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions that affect their mobility and function. Qualifications

Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

Compensation and Benefits
