The Wellness Care Psychological Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate mental health professionals to fill full-time positions for Licensed Mental Health Therapists, specifically targeting individuals with licensure as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW. Work Environment\n

This role is set within a fully remote work environment, allowing you to connect with patients from the comfort of your home while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our practice operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility needed based on patient demand. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team dedicated to improving mental health outcomes across the community.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments with patients to accurately identify their specific needs, including emotional, psychological, and behavioral factors, and develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans.

• Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide effective individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions that address various mental health topics, fostering a sense of community and understanding among participants.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate holistic care strategies and ensure comprehensive service delivery.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and emotional support for patients experiencing mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and a trauma-informed approach.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment alternatives, and community resources available to enhance their support systems.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements, using electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

• Actively engage in routine team meetings and professional development activities like case consultations, ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery.

• Stay updated with the latest innovations and research in the field of mental health, contributing to a culture of learning and advanced practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals coping with conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with clients from various backgrounds, providing culturally competent care that addresses their unique needs and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Virginia is required.

• Strong understanding of mental health diagnostics and evidence-based treatment strategies.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and create effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Experience in delivering therapy to diverse populations, with a focus on inclusivity and equitable care.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to build rapport with clients.

• Sound professional judgment, integrity, and adherence to ethical standards in practice.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software applications.

• A collaborative spirit, able to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mental health counseling or therapy.

• Experience in telehealth services is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
