Entry-Level Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Entry‑Level Associate Attorney for a full-time position in Ronkonkoma, NY. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in both litigation and corporate departments, providing a diverse range of practice areas for professional growth. Duties Draft and negotiate business contracts, including asset and stock purchase agreements, license agreements, and partnership agreements. Assist in complex M&A transactions, including due diligence and agreement drafting. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents. Prepare for and participate in depositions and court appearances. Requirements Admitted to practice in New York State or pending admission with expected admission in early 2026. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Relevant internship experience is a plus. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admission to the New York State Bar. Skills Strong legal research and writing skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
