Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients and develop and implement treatment plans to improve strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and overall function for a variety of diagnoses. The role includes educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs to support recovery and wellness. This position supports outpatient care at the Willits Clinic in Basalt, Colorado, aiming to reduce patient wait times by expanding rehabilitation staff. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients to determine physical therapy needs and appropriate interventions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and preventive care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current Colorado Physical Therapist licensure (DORA) or compact licensure for Colorado.
• Minimum of two years of physical therapy experience; 3-5 years preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Mandatory influenza vaccination (no declinations accepted) during flu season (Oct 1 - Apr 1).

• Experience working in outpatient physical therapy settings.
• Strong patient education and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Work is based at the Willits Clinic in Basalt, Colorado.
• Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exceptions during the specified season.
• Housing opportunity available nearby with furnished apartments for traveling staff.

• Full-time schedule working four 10-hour days per week.
• Weekday shifts with varying days; no weekend work required.
