Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The role involves delivering physical therapy care including orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and musculoskeletal injury treatments. The therapist collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery through various therapeutic modalities such as hydrotherapy, pelvic health therapy, dry needling, and specialized programs like LSVT Big and Loud. This position supports a broad range of patient populations including developmentally delayed and pediatric patients, ensuring high-quality care across hospital, nursing home, outpatient clinic, school visits, and home care environments. Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy treatments in inpatient hospital, nursing home, outpatient clinic, school, and home care settings.
• Deliver specialized therapy services including pelvic health therapy, hydrotherapy, dry needling, and pain management.
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans addressing orthopedic, neurological, developmental, and musculoskeletal needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including occupational therapists, speech therapists, medical staff, and social workers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.
• Participate in patient education and wellness promotion activities.
• Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a safe treatment environment.

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Montana or eligible for licensure.
• Knowledge and experience in physical therapy treatment techniques and modalities.
• Ability to perform patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

• Experience with hydrotherapy and pelvic health therapy.
• Familiarity with specialized programs such as LSVT Big and Loud.
• Experience working with pediatric and developmentally delayed populations.
• Previous experience in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings.

• Work involves travel to various patient care locations including schools and home visits.
• Must be able to work effectively in a rural healthcare environment serving a diverse patient population.

• Full-time schedule with shifts determined based on patient care needs across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• May require flexible hours to accommodate school visits and home care appointments.
