You will adhere to a structured work schedule, maintaining normal business hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM .

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate mood disorder symptom severity, frequency, and duration, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each client's mental health status.

• Develop individualized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, focusing on their specific goals and preferences in a therapeutic context.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) , tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies, fostering engagement and informed decision-making.

• Monitor and track client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting treatment strategies and plans as necessary based on client feedback and clinical observations.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, providing integrated care that considers all aspects of the client's well-being.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment, continuously improving therapy practices through evidence-based approaches.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all notes and treatment plans are thorough and well-organized.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work , Marriage and Family Therapy , Mental Health Counseling , or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LICSW , LMHC , or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• Proficiency in delivering evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with a clear track record of successful patient outcomes.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective engagement with clients and team members alike.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling is preferred, we are especially interested in candidates with specialized experience in working with mood disorders and related conditions. Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology will also be an asset in this remote role.
