Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations during initial consultations to assess clients’ needs and inform treatment plans.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans that reflect the unique circumstances of clients, addressing their mental, behavioral, and emotional health.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that utilize various therapeutic techniques to encourage self-exploration and healing.

• Monitor each client’s progress throughout their treatment journey, modifying plans as needed based on observations and client feedback.
\n
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care specialists, to ensure integrated care for clients.

• Follow up with inpatient treatment providers for clients requiring hospitalization, coordinating care duration and discharge plans effectively.
\n
• Identify and implement strategies to prevent setbacks that may hinder recovery, providing practical tools for clients to manage their mental health actively.

• Educate and guide family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges faced by their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will range from diverse backgrounds and age groups, presenting with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. We emphasize personalized therapy that recognizes the individual’s life experiences and cultural context. Your expertise will help bridge the gap in accessing mental health services for those who may otherwise face barriers due to geographical or situational constraints.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling.

• Current licensure in the state of Illinois as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW).

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated clinical experience in mental health counseling with a strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as AVATAR for documentation and client management.
\n
• Strong knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and ethical guidelines.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine empathetic approach to client interaction.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients who have co-occurring physical and mental health conditions, as well as those experiencing addiction disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, with a competitive sign-on bonus.
