Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Enhance the educational experience for students by providing expert speech-language therapy services in a dynamic school setting. A contract opportunity is available for a credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for supporting students’ communication and language development. Spend the academic year on-site, collaborating closely with educators and families within a dedicated K–12 environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active North Carolina SLP license (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Previous experience in a K–12 school setting preferred
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adjust strategies to meet student needs
• Strong collaborative and communication skills, working seamlessly with school teams, parents, and administrators
• Commitment to full-time, onsite service (remote or VOCO options not available)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Implement therapy and monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to facilitate student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input to multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain detailed documentation, progress reports, and comply with state and district requirements
• Serve as a resource within the school community to promote awareness of speech and language development

This school-based contract runs from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, offering a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.
