Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' needs and mobility goals through comprehensive physical examinations.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities, to create individualized care plans.
• Design and implement fitness and wellness programs that cater to the specific needs of patients recovering from orthopedic conditions.
• Motivate and educate patients regarding their treatment progress, ensuring they remain engaged and focused on their recovery objectives.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment strategies, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans based on observed performance and outcomes.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices, helping patients improve their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Conduct patient assessments and communicate effectively with patients and their families about treatment plans and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients dealing with musculoskeletal injuries and orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Your role is crucial in ensuring that they achieve optimal movement and regain independence in their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, specifically in treating patients with various musculoskeletal conditions.
• Proficient in assessment techniques, treatment planning, and delivering direct patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
